On Thursday, November 1, 2012 TAPS Public Transit officially put The Pink Bus on the road. The Sherman Chamber of Commerce hosted a "ribbon cutting" with the support of Women Rock, Inc. Attendees included TCOG Executive Director, Dr. Susan Thomas, Sherman City Councilwoman and TAPS Board of Directors Chair, Cary Wacker.
