To get a ride with TAPS you must schedule your ride at least 2 business days before your trip, but no more than 2 weeks before. We cannot schedule a trip more than 2 weeks in advance.

TAPS Public Transit offers residents of Cooke, Clay, Fannin, Grayson, Montague, and Wise counties, the Get-a-Ride public transportation service. Get-a-Ride is a shared-ride, point-to-point, curb-to-curb, service.

How to Schedule a Ride

Our call center is open to schedule a ride, Monday-Friday, 7am to 3pm

Standing OrdersAll trips must now be scheduled by 3:00 p.m., at least 2 business days, before the trip date. You call to schedule as early as 2 weeks before your trip.

If you have special transportation needs due to a certified disability, please make sure the Call Center Agent knows that you may need special equipment assistance.

TAPS drivers do not make change. Exact amount of the fare is due upon boarding the TAPS vehicle.

For safety and convenience, you may want to purchase individual fares, prepaid fares cards, or a monthly pass. Don't be a No-Show
