Taryn Rath has been hired as Transportation Solutions Coordinator in the Mobility Management department at TAPS. Rath will coordinate rider and community outreach in Collin County for Josephine, Lavon, Lucas, McKinney, Murphy, Nevada, Parker and Wylie,
Barbara Reeves, Senior Mobility and Community Relations Coordinator, said Rath will help TAPS Public Transit develop closer relations with community leaders and users of public transportation.
“Taryn has a strong background in customer service,” said Reeves. “Her professional training in psychology helps her better understand people and speak to their needs as customers of our services.”
Rath, a McKinney native, attended Western Michigan University.
“I am excited about being an advocate for our riders, and working with government, community organizations and private business to bring each of these communities the kind of public transportation they want to build for their citizens,” said Rath.
