Anna-Lisa Richardson has been promoted to the position of Purchasing Agent for the TAPS Access operating unit. The announcement was made today by Molina Cheek, Director of Finance.’
TAPS Access is the part of the transportation agency that provides management and operations of non-emergency medical transportation services to Medicaid members.
Richardson came to TAPS Public Transit last year as front office receptionist. During that time she directed phone calls and greeted customers at the agency’s headquarters in Sherman.
She has 13 years experience in customer service. As purchasing agent she is responsible for reviewing goods and services, vendor relations, and working with department managers to source, select, and negotiate for the best purchase package.
“Anna-Lisa has been a great asset to our front office operation and we know she will bring the same level of attention to detail to her new duties in purchasing,” said Cheek. “I think she also serves as a good example of this agency’s culture of promoting from within and giving people the opportunity to move within the organization.”
