On Wednesday (October 21) my staff and I will present our recovery plan to the TAPS board of directors. Our hope is to get approval to implement an action plan that will bring this agency back on budget and provide the maximum amount of service we can provide.

Everyone who is a customer of TAPS is concerned about how any changes will affect them. While we will propose reduced service —particularly our Get-a-Ride on-demand service— the result will be a more reliable service.
We think most customers would prefer to have their ride be on time, than a promise that can’t be kept.
