Brad Underwood, TAPS CEO and Executive Director has promoted current general manager of operations Matt Hunt to Regional General Manager, effective immediately.
Hunt has been general manager of driver and call center operations since earlier this year. He joined TAPS Public Transit in 2013 as call center manager.
Hunt’s promotion comes as the public transit agency expands its management team to handle increased operational needs. TAPS was recently given tentative approval from the State of Texas Health and Human Services Commission of a contract to provide Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) to the 16-county Super Region 4.
Part of the management reorganization includes adding general manager and assistant general manager positions exclusively for Collin County. Both new managers will report to Hunt.
