Beginning with the October 7, 2015 TAPS board of directors meeting in Sherman, I have been hearing our riders and other interested citizens voice concerns about the future of TAPS Public Transit.

There have been four public meetings so far and at least three more are planned this month.

On Thursday, November 5, Collin County residents will have another opportunity to speak their mind at a town hall. Collin County Commissioner Chris Hill (also chair of the TAPS Board of Directors) is hosting the event at the Collin County Courthouse. We hope you can attend. If you need transportation to the meeting, please call before 3:00 p.m. (800) 256-0911. We will do our best to get you there.

There will be a final public meeting in McKinney on November 12, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the McKinney Performing Arts Center on the square downtown.

We also are working on setting a town hall in Sherman next week. Watch for details.
