Businesses in downtown Denison want more people to come visit. So, they are putting out the word with an advertising campaign aimed at Texoma. Part of their strategy is transit advertising —big billboard graphics on public transit buses.

Denison Downtown director, Donna Dow, said the Main Street area wants to be known for its family-oriented music events, live theater shows, and annual festivals. “Heritage Park has become a central location for staging events, big and small, and it’s a great place to launch our media campaign,” said Dow.

TAPS Public Transit bus number 199 helps get the word out with a splashy, colorful, over-sized design featuring three guitars created as art objects. The design style is whimsical, with a Sixties vibe. The artwork also introduces the new brand logo for Denison Downtown Live.

TAPS bus 199 will travel thousands of miles during the length of the advertising campaign —crisscrossing Grayson, Fannin and Cooke Counties— generating hundreds of thousands of impressions.
