If you use the TAPS Get-a-Ride, on-demand, curb-to-curb, shared-ride service, you need to know about an important change to our trip reservation rules as of June 1, 2015.

This change does not apply to you if you are a TAPS ADA Certified rider. To learn more about becoming certified as a TAPS ADA rider visit this page.

Get-a-Ride Booking RuleIn the past, you could schedule a ride with just 1 day notice. Now, you will need to reserve your trip at least 2 business days in advance, and no later than 3:00 p.m. on the second day. In fact, with rising demand in Collin and Grayson counties, there may not be an available seat for as long as 5 weeks from the date you call.

A business day is defined as Monday through Friday, except scheduled TAPS holidays. Saturday and Sunday are not considered a business day.
