Last night over 100 Collin County citizens and other stakeholders attended the public meeting at McKinney City Hall. It was an opportunity for me to speak one-on-one to everyone who is concerned about the future of TAPS Public Transit in their communities.
TAPS is a community service funded by the federal, state and local governments, and partners. We are in the business to provide public transportation. That’s what we want to do. But we can do only do what we can afford.
We are compiling last night’s comments today and will have a summary of the questions and ideas submitted. Watch our homepage for details.
